Store Settings

Configure your store's behavior and preferences.

Accessing Settings

Go to Admin > Settings to access all configuration options.

Settings are organized into tabs:

• General
• Appearance
• Shipping
• Inventory
• Domain (Pro)
• Guides

General Settings

Store Information

• Store Name - Displayed in header and emails
• Store Email - Contact email for customers
• Store Phone - Optional, shown in footer
• Store Address - Business address for footer

Social Links

Add links to your social profiles:

• Instagram
• Twitter/X
• Facebook
• TikTok
• YouTube

Links appear in your store footer.

Appearance

Theme Selection

Choose from available theme presets:

• Starter tier: 3 themes
• Pro tier: 6 themes

Brand Color

Your primary accent color for:

• Buttons
• Links
• Active states
• Highlights

Enter a hex code or use the color picker.

Logo

Upload your store logo:

• Displayed in header and emails
• Recommended: PNG with transparency
• Size: 200x50 pixels or larger

Shipping Settings

Enable Shipping

Toggle to collect shipping addresses at checkout.

When disabled:

• No address collection (for digital-only stores)
• Faster checkout

Shipping Countries

Select which countries you ship to:

• Customers outside these countries cannot checkout
• Common: US, Canada, UK, Australia

Shipping Rates

Currently, GoSovereign uses free shipping or flat-rate pricing baked into product prices.

For calculated rates, use Stripe's shipping rate feature.

Inventory Settings

Hide Out of Stock

When enabled:

• Products with 0 inventory don't appear in store
• Prevents customer frustration
• Products return when restocked

Low Stock Threshold

Set when to receive low stock alerts:

• Default: 5 units
• Adjust based on your reorder time

Low Stock Emails

Toggle to receive email alerts when products hit the threshold.

Domain Settings (Pro)

See Custom Domains for setup instructions.

Add Domain

1. Enter your domain (e.g., shop.yourbrand.com)
2. Click Add
3. Configure DNS
4. Verify connection

Domain Status

• Pending - Waiting for DNS verification
• Connected - Domain is working
• Error - Check DNS configuration

Saving Changes

Click Save after making changes. Most settings take effect immediately.

Some changes (like domain) require verification steps.

Tips

Regular Review

Review settings quarterly:

• Update contact info
• Refresh social links
• Check shipping countries

Test After Changes

After changing settings:

• View your store as a customer
• Test checkout flow
• Verify emails look correct

Mobile Check

Settings affect mobile display too. Check your store on phone after changes.
